Who We Are

Co-Founders Niall McCloskey & Thomas Bennett are an award-winning writing, directing, producing & visual art duo from Belfast NI known for their use of analogue film formats, from HI8 to Super-8.

Together their work has been funded by Northern Ireland Screen, Arts Council NI & the BFI Network and has been recognised and awarded nationally and internationally with their work showcasing at Academy®, BAFTA, BIFA & IFTA qualifying Film Festivals.

Niall & Thomas are two of forty screenwriters selected for the Stowe Story Labs ‘Facing-in / Facing-out’ screenplay development lab at the 38th Galway Film Fleadh to develop their first feature screenplay ‘O BODY’ alongside gaining valuable marketplace experience. 

Thomas is currently in active development on new moving image work within the AIME ‘Developing Your Practice as a Film Artist’ programme 2025-2026 whilst Niall has just competed a six-month development lab within NI Screens ‘New Shorts Focus’ programme where he developed a screenplay for a new narrative short film.

Niall and Thomas are in active development on their first feature screenplay, a new Straight-8 piece and their next narrative short film.
